The application deadline for potential growers, labs, processors, and dispensaries wanting to do business in West Virginia closed on February 18th. A total of 285 total permit applications were submitted including 199 dispensary applications, 44 grower applications, 41 processor applications, and one lab!
Next steps include a review process for applications and the issuance of permits. The current timeline shows the middle of 2021 before the industry is fully operating and seeing patients.
