Here’s some exciting news – West Virginia is reopening the permit process for medical cannabis labs! The permit application was closed on February 18, but during that time only one lab applied for a permit. There also won’t be a limit to the number of lab permits issued.
Medical cannabis labs test for quality control and potency, which is vital to distributing medical cannabis.
This means there’s another opportunity for medical cannabis labs to set up shop in our region! We’re looking forward to the potential job creation and economic contribution these labs will give to our region and West Virginia as a whole.
