Fiber Extension Grant Announced for Raleigh County Memorial Airport

Today, West Virginia Governor Jim Justice announced a fiber extension grant for the Raleigh County Memorial Airport totaling $643,999! The project is funded with a Community Development Block Grant and will extend fiber to the West Side of the Raleigh County Airport Industrial Park, providing uninterrupted broadband access for businesses located in the industrial park. This is an awesome opportunity to expand internet access to more businesses in our region and draw new businesses to the Raleigh County Airport Industrial Park.

Along with the fiber extension grant for Raleigh County, 16 other grants were awarded across the state. The combined total of the Community Development Block Grants is $13.8 million – a wonderful investment in West Virginia communities.
