  • The region hosts hundreds of skiers annually at WinterPlace Resort, in Ghent. Residents also enjoy proximity to SnowShoe Resort (less than an hour away from some parts of the region).
  • There are also seven high adventure camps within the region, allowing adventure to become a family activity on the high wires, or zip lines traversing the mountains of the Gorge.
  • The seven specialty crafted mountain biking terrain courses within the region offer trails for beginners and families all the way up to those bikers training for the X-Games brush up on.
