We’re excited to share that the Destination: Beautification publication, developed in collaboration with West Virginia State University and the National Coal Heritage Area Authority, has been named a Gold Winner in the Association of Communication Excellence (ACE) awards program! ACE is an association of Extension Service communicators made up of individuals from 1890 and 1862 land-grant universities nationwide, and the competition is typically stiff for their awards. Last year, more than 300 projects were entered into the various categories.
Gold is the highest honor in each subcategory (ours was “one- to full-color popular publications”). All gold winners in the Publishing parent category will also be considered for an Outstanding Professional Skill Award. Should the project receive that distinction, We’ll be sure to share!
Congratulations and thank you to everyone involved in helping make Destination: Beautification such a success! VIEW FULL PUBLICATION HERE
